those of us who are interested in changing the car tyre size on our car there are a few places that these details can be found. Some may wish to do this for aesthetic purposes and others may want to do it to give their car greater grip on the road. At Tyreland our advice would always be to refer to the car manufacturers approved sizes, however if you want to find what these approved car tyre sizes are for your car you can check:
- Usually there is a marking on the driver’s side door pillar
- Check out the technical documentation for your car
- It is also on the vehicle registration documentation
- Or you can ask in your local NCT testing centre as they will have this information on their database
